细菌密度感应系统(QSS)与细菌的生物膜形成和毒力等生物学特性息息相关.细菌相互间通过QSS交换信号分子实现其信息交流,而阻断细菌间的信号传导,可达到抑制或减少细菌感染的目的.近年来人们发现了多种天然抑制剂,可干扰QSS的传导回路.本文就细菌QSS及其天然抑制剂等研究进展作一综述.
The ability of bacteria to sense and respond to population density is termed cell-to-cell commumcation or quorum sensing system (QSS). And many bacterial physiological functions such as biofilm formation and virulence are regulated by QSS. QSS is seemed to be a novel target for some anfimicrobial drugs which can block reception of the cognate QSS signals in vivo and finally inducing chemical attenuation of pathogens. Recently,some researchers have found that some natural substances can interfere with the cycle of QSS. The natural inhibitors of QSS will be introduced in this view.
